I have bought this as a Christmas present for my Niece. I find it tricky to find gifts for teenagers which I can post to Australia so the mini kit is ideal. I know my niece will love it.

I love this kit!
I thought it'd be something fun to do for a couple of afternoons (or more, I'm a slow crafter) but honestly, it arrived in the morning and I had 2 wall hangings made before i got back to bed.
When I couldn't pick just one design to do I thought I'd have to buy another load of materials, but with careful planning there was more than enough for what I wanted.
I even ended up with a pair of earrings made with the offcuts and a spare set of ear loops.

My number one tip is to make a pattern first. I did mine on cardboard (cereal box) so I knew how to place the pieces.
My number two tip is wear gloves with the steel wool!

My last tip is prepare to get addicted! I just want to make more now!

I was gifted the use of Searlait's jewellery making kit for my birthday and it did not disappoint.

I thought, as a creative but slightly impatient person, I may struggle to produce something I was pleased with but Searlait's clear and fun video guided me through seamlessly. If I did not understand a section, I could easily rewind and keep calm!

I produced a pin badge and a pendant to wear on a necklace and I absolutely love them. I will definitely be keeping my eyes pealed for future Today Studio fun.

This kit is amazing. It was such a treat to try a new craft at home with all the tools and materials at the ready. The instructional video was ace. Séarlait talks you through everything in a clear and friendly way. I’ve kept my kit and I’ll be enjoying making lovely thing out of brass 4evs!

This little kit made a new craft completely accessible and enjoyable. Searlait explains everything fantastically and all the materials supplies are of wonderful quality. For me this kit was a jumping off point to get in to jewelry making and was extremely inspiring and fun to work with. I genuinely couldn't recommend this kit more.

I really enjoyed this class and it gave me a lovely reason to get creative with new materials at home! I really enjoyed being able to do the class in my own time at my own pace - it was really useful to follow along with Searlait's video and I loved that we learnt how to make a tried and tested design first, before experimenting with my own designs as it helped to build my confidence with the materials. I'm really happy with how shiny the finished badges have come out and I've now got ideas to make more for presents for people! I would really recommend this workshop.

Absolutely LOVED sitting down to do this kit. Good quality tools and easy to follow tutorial. I’m always last to finish at any real life courses I go on as I’m such a fusser so being able to pause the tutorial was perfect for me! Just what I needed to get away from the stresses of lockdown. And I love my new pins!

Such an incredible way to make making jewellery accessible from home. The video workshop that Séarlait has put together is so well done and super easy to follow. A wonderful activity for a lockdown weekend - or any weekend really. I would highly recommend this for anyone who fancies trying something new!

I was so pleased to be able to take part in one of Séarlait’s workshops eventually! I don't live nearby so I've always had to watch from afar until now but it was great to be able to take part at home. The toolkit arrived with everything you need to make your brass pins, and the instruction video was easy to follow. It was great to be able to follow along at you own pace and take the time to decide what to make without any pressure.

I’ve wanted to try one of Séarlait’s workshops for ages but live too far away so this was perfect! I was a total beginner but found the whole process so straightforward and easy to understand and so much FUN! Was great being able to pause the video and take the steps at my own pace. I loved learning a new skill and having something I made myself to show for it. In fact I loved it so much that I then ordered a tool kit to keep! Highly recommend giving this a go :)

Absolutely loved this workshop - from the super easy to follow instructions, to the love and care in the carefully prepared and packed boxes, to the humour and fun of Séarlait in the video ... I cannot believe I made brass pin badges!!! At first I struggled to get the technique right, snapping the blade (too heavy handed I reckon!) - but Séarlait was very helpful in giving advice and encouragement. I honestly think ANYONE could make something they can wear with pride! Thank you, thank you, thank you

I ordered this toolkit to see if I'm any good at brass jewellery making to potentially add to my own shop's offerings in the future. I was very excited to receive the neat package with all the tools I needed to make the Today jewellery pins as well as come up with my own. I started straight away and with the guidance of the instruction video from Séarlait I was underway very quickly. I struggled with the saw blade attachment but after a few tries it went in okay and I was able to cut out the first shapes. I then made a bunny rabbit (with 2 pin attachments so it doesn't dangle) and a cactus shape.
I loved the whole process and decided to purchase the toolkit to keep for myself. Can't wait to make more pins and perhaps try my hand at smaller pieces such as studs! Séarlait was very helpful with all my folloq-up questions on where to get more materials which is most appreciated.
If you don't keep the tools it is still a great experience to have, without even leaving your home!

A lot of care has been taken in creating these tool kits and The workshop video. I’ve always wanted to get into jewellery making and this comes with everything you need and more. It took me about a week to make all my pins but really loved every second of it :)
